Gihingusgan sa usa ka grupo sa kabatan-onan ang pagpasar sa ordinansa nga magmugna og City Human Rights Action Board (CHRAB) aron mas mapalapdan pa ang mga programa mahitungod sa pagprotehir sa mga katungod sa matag usa.
Gipresentar ni Ashel Louisse Mulet, 2nd year Political Science student sa Liceo de Cagayan University, ang “E-Tukod Ordinance: An Ordinance creating the Human Rights Action Board for the purpose of mainstreaming human rights through rule of law and access to justice” atol sa tigom nga gipangulohan ni Committee on Sports and Youth Development Chair/SK Federation President John Michael Seno.
Tumong sa gilaraw nga ordinansa nga mas hugtan pa ang human rights promotion/education efforts sa dakbayan, maka-rekomenda og mga palisiya mahitungod sa social justice and human rights, mahingusgan ang legal aid services, ug makamugna og linkages/referral system.
Aktibong milambigit sa maong lakang ang Commission on Human Rights (CHR), Balaod Mindanao, Philippine Army, CDO City Police Office, City Legal Office, City Information Office, Department of Education ug uban pang stakeholders.
Sa maong tigom, gimugna ni Konsehal Seno ang usa ka Technical Working Group (TWG) alang sa mas komprehensibo nga pagtuki og pagtuon sa maong proposed ordinance.
Ang sugyot ordinansa nahimong posible pinaagi sa programa sa miaging tuig sa Oro Youth Development Council nga ‘E-Tukod’ diin 50 ka mga kabantan-onan ang misalmot sa tahas nga makamugna og ordinansa sa Health & Wellness, Education, Good Governance ug Peace, Justice and Security.
