Zamboanga del Sur – As per advisory released by IPHO today, October 11, 2021. The province records 2 new COVID 19 Delta Variant. Based on the swab samples results sent to the Philippine Genome Center, delta was detected from patients who are both from Pagadian City – a 45-year-old male resident of Brgy. Bogo, and a 48-year-old female resident of Brgy. Kalasan. Both patients have been declared RECOVERED.
The province has already recorded 33 delta cases according to the Provincial Health Office.

- Male, 45 years old, resident of Brgy. Bogo, Pagadian City. Admitted at an ER in a government hospital. Unvaccinated. No travel history. Swab date on August 8, 2021. Result date on the same day – Covid Positive. Declared recovered on September 7, 2021.
- Female, 48 years old, resident of Brgy. Kalasan, Pagadian City. A healthcare worker. Symptomatic. Isolated at community isolation unit. Fully vaccinated. Swab date on August 23, 2021. Result on August 24, 2021. Declared recovered on September 5, 2021.
