The Tzu Chi Foundation has once again extended its compassionate support to the amputee community by providing new prosthetic limbs, bringing renewed hope to individuals who were either born without limbs or lost them in accidents. The foundation’s generosity has given these recipients the opportunity to regain their mobility and independence, transforming their lives in meaningful ways.
The initiative of PDAO-ZamboSur under the “New Legs, new hope, new life” Program was made possible with the full support of Gov. Victor J. Yu , Congw. Divina Grace C. Yu , and Congw. Victoria YU , who ensured that transportation was provided for PWDs to access this life-changing opportunity. Also to DSWD Regional Director Riduan Hadjimuddin ( tapped by PDAO Miriam) ,who provided the accommodation and packed meals. Indeed, their commitment to uplifting the PWD sector has been invaluable, showing their genuine care and dedication to the community.
This partnership reflects the collective effort to give amputees a new lease on life, instilling hope for a brighter future.
To God be all the glory for the success of this project and the ongoing support for the PWDs in Zamboanga del Sur! It’s YU who made it happened!
