The provinces of Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Zamboanga del Norte recently received their Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics. These mobile clinics come equipped with various medical devices, including a digital x-ray machine, portable ultrasound machine, hematology analyzer, chemistry analyzer, binocular microscope, clinical centrifuge, and a generator set, designed to deliver immediate and high-quality healthcare services to geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) nationwide.
Spearheaded by the Department of Health, these mobile clinics provide an innovative solution for delivering essential health services to Filipinos. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads the turnover ceremony at the Manila North Harbor Port, distributing the deeds of donation to 28 recipient provinces. Additionally, more areas, including the islands of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, are set to receive their Bayanihan Mobile Clinics.
