The City Government of Iriga, represented by Mayor Wilfredo Rex C. Oliva, participated in the 2024 Regional Development Council (RDC) Week-Off Celebration on September 23, 2024, at the Legazpi City Convention Center.
The event marked the launch of the “๐๐ข๐จ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ด” campaign, showcasing the administrationโs leadership and governance strategy. With the theme, โ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ด: ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฐ ๐ด๐ข ๐๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ช๐ด๐บ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฏ 2040,โ it emphasized the nation’s long-term development vision.
Key highlights included:
1. The unveiling of Bicol Regional Development Priorities by the RDC Chairperson,
2. The RDC Awards and Recognition Ceremony, and
3. The inaugural Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall Meeting.
Mayor Rex’s attendance underscored Iriga Cityโs commitment to supporting national development goals and contributing to the progress of the Ambisyon Natin 2040 vision.
