In support of the development and welfare of our fellow IPs, Gov. Victor J. Yu personally witnessed together with 1st District Cong. Divina Grace C. Yu and Dumingag Mayor Gerry Paglinawan the MOA signing between ICC/IPS, NCIP and DA for the implementation of MIADP (Mindanao Inclusive Agriculture Development Project) of the Department of Agriculture.
This confirmation happened yesterday, August 5 at the Ancestral Domain Management Office in Barangay Bagong Valencia, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur which was made successful through the understanding and cooperation of Tribal Chieftain-Timuay Eddie Rosing, OIC NCIP IX-RD Julius L. Mabini, DA- Regional Executive Director Marcos C. Sr., OIC MIADP IX- Ma. Gemma S. Genaldo.
The goal of this program is to help our fellow IPs to improve their livelihoods now and in the future generation where Dumingag town was chosen to be the pilot area in Zamboanga del Sur and through this, soon the services will be benefited. project that reaches this town specifically to the mountainous parts that belong to the ancestral domain where the IPs brothers formed.
