The Multi-Sector Governance Committee of the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) convened on Monday, September 30, to report on and discuss important matters related to the development of its programs and strategies to better serve the communities.
Among the agenda items discussed were the status of ZCMC’s specialty centers, the potential mass hiring of medical and other relevant workers once funds become available, updates on the development of its Integrated Information System as part of the hospital’s digitization efforts, and the proposal to build a halfway house for discharged patients who cannot leave yet due to reasons such as pending documentary requirements or while waiting for transportation.
ZCMC is partnering with the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the local government of Zamboanga on this endeavor.
