In line with deputized order from Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) under section 9 of RA 7942 and PRRD DIRECTIVES against Unlawful destruction of Natural Resources one suspect owner of small mining arrested.
Joint Detectives of CIDG Surigao del Norte PFU together with personnel from Placer MPS and representative from Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Mr. Noli N. Arezza and Mr. Ernesto C. Galzar conducted law enforcement operation at Sitio Mapaso, Barangay Magsaysay, Placer, Surigao del Norte which resulted in the arrest of JOVITO DULGUIME JR. y FEBRA, 31 years old, male, married, owner of the small scale mining in the area who is caught in the act openly operating without permit from the MGB.
Arrested person was informed of his constitutional rights and nature of arrest and brought to the Office of CIDG Surigao del Norte field unit for booking and proper disposition while the confiscated pieces of evidence were under the costudy of Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) office and a criminal case is being prepared for inquest filing against the arrested person before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Surigao City.
