New LTO Bacolod site operational Feb. 6

Bacolod City – The new office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Sitio Manayawsayaw, Brgy. Mansilingan is expected to be fully operational on February 6.

LTO Bacolod chief Renato Novero said that they are now accommodating registration of vehicles at their new office, after the internet connection, as well as the furniture and fixtures, have been installed at the new facility.

The new LTO Bacolod site and its building, costing P33.34 million, was donated by the provincial government of Negros Occidental.

Novero said they will close down the old LTO Bacolod office on Feb. 3, with the transfer of their server to the new site.

He added that the inauguration schedule of the new LTO Bacolod office and site is being finalized by the provincial government of Negros Occidental, to be set on either February 21 or 22.

Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz earlier said that the old LTO Bacolod site and the neighboring Boy Scouts of the Philippines, which are locate on property owned by the provincial government, will be developed into a multi-use building.
