Davao de Oro: The Municipal Government of Nabunturan organized on Monday (April 20) the Contact Tracing Team (CTT) for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVD-19) pandemic.
In the Executive Order No. 28, Mayor Chelita Amatong emphasized that creation of the team is pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 2020-73 of the Department of Interior and Local Government or the Guidelines for the Conduct of Expanded Testing Procedures for COVID-19.
The order said that the team is composed of Nabunturan Police Station, Nabunturan Rural Health Unit/Municipal Health Office, Nabunturan Fire Station, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERT), Barangay Peace and Order Committee Chairperson, and Barangay Civilian Volunteer Organization.
The CTT, according to the order will do contact tracing of all persons with known exposure to Covid-19 patients to ensure that they are strictly observing the Home Quarantine measure.
The team will also monitor the status of Persons Under Investigation (PUI), Persons Under Monitoring (PUM), Suspect, Probable, Confirmed, family members with known contact to a confirmed case to mitigate the possibility of contagion.
The team will also report daily updates to the Covid-19 Provincial and Regional Task Force/Crisis Team. (PIA11, Michael Uy)
