PNP personnel of Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Intel Unit, Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Naga Municipal Police Station (MPS) and 903rd Company of RMFB9 conducted joint law enforcement operation against wanted person at Purok C, Brgy. Salipyasin, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 5:30 PM of August 24, 2020. This resulted in the arrest of Iyang Alawi, 31 years old, married, and a resident of Purok C, Brgy. Salipyasin, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Robbery with Homicide, docketed under Criminal Case No. I-4821, issued by Hon. Anthony DT Isaw, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 24, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay dated June 26, 2020 with no recommended bail bond for the principals and ₱ 150, 000 for the accomplices.
He is now under the temporary custody of Kabasalan MPS for proper disposition.
