Isabela City Police Station Is The PNP’s Best Police Station For 2020


The Isabela City Police Station (ICPS) was adjudged as the country’s best city police station for 2020 during the recently concluded PNP 119th Police Service Anniversary Celebration the theme, “Towards a Pandemic- Resilient PNP-Adopting Protective Protocols in the New Normal” held at PNP Headquarters, Camp BGEN. Rafael Crame, Quezon City on August 6, 2020.

DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año and PNP Chief, Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa presented virtually the awards for Best City Police Station to Isabela City Police Station for outstanding performance and achievements in the field of operations and administration over the past year.

PBGEN. Jesus D. Cambay, Jr. PRO9 Regional Director commended the men and women of Isabela City Police Station under PLTCOL. Homer Dumalag for bringing honors and pride to the Police Regional Office 9. “Such a feat would not have been possible without the cooperation of every uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of Isabela City Police Station including other stakeholders who contributed to stations’ accomplishments, programs and initiatives”, he added.

This year, Isabela City Police Station is the only unit of PRO9 to bag an award at the national level. During the 118th Police Service Anniversary Celebration held last year, Zamboanga City Police Office was awarded as Best City Police Station (national level) and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 as Best Regional Mobile Force (national level) while PCPT Allan Benedict Rosete awarded as Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Operation.

The Isabela City Police Station though located in the province of Basilan under the BARMM, is place under the administrative supervision and operational control of Police Regional Office 9 by virtue of NAPOLCOM Resolution No. 2017-300 dated May 25, 2017.
