The Social Security System (SSS) announced that its Goa Service Office (SO) is now located in the municipal hall building in San Jose Partido, Camarines Sur, making the SSS local office more accessible to members and claimants in the said town and nearby municipalities.
SSS Naga Branch Head II Claribel L. Rebueno said that at its current location, the SSS service office is now ready to provide better services to more than 30,800 members and over 2,200 employers in said town and neighboring municipalities.
Rebueno added that the newly transferred local SSS office features a Customer Care facility and an E-Center located in the ground floor of the municipal building while the Accounts Management Section, Office of the Head and other sections are housed at the 3rd floor.
“The sections and facilities of the service office is strategically placed in areas which will make it more convenient for members and claimants to access,” Rebueno explained.
She said that the new office space of the local SSS office can accommodate an average of daily transactions of 364. It is open from Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
“We are grateful to the local government of San Jose Partido for providing SSS a rent-free which is more office space, helping SSS to save on rental costs,” Rebueno stated.
Rebueno said that the current location of the service office is only temporary because the local government eyes to provide SSS with a bigger, rent-free office space after the local government completed the retrofitting activities in the soon-to-be permanent site of SSS Goa Service Office.
“While the permanent site is still under preparation, SSS is readily available bringing services closer to the community through its temporary location at the Municipal Hall Building,” Rebueno concluded.
