Iriga: PRO5 accords testimonial honors to TDCA’s Sentimental Journey

In commemorating the illustrious 38-year career of POLICE LIEUTENANT GENERAL RHODEL ORDEN SERMONIA, the Deputy Chief for Administration of the PNP, a Testimonial Honors was conducted on January 9, 2024, at the PRO5 Grandstand, Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.

In the message delivered by PBGEN ANDRE P DIZON, Acting Regional Director, he recalled the contributions made by the PLTGEN Sermonia in the field of law enforcement.

“Sir, you will be leaving an indelible mark in our organization, the police service, and the nation in general. You have been instrumental in implementing various reforms and initiatives that have improved the performance, morale, and welfare of the PNP personnel. You have also been a staunch advocate of human rights, community relations, and anti-corruption efforts that have enhanced the public trust and confidence in the police force. You have exemplified the highest standards of competence, courage, and commitment that have inspired many of us to follow your footsteps.”

A distinguished member of the Philippine Military Academy “MAKATAO” Class of 1989, PLTGEN SERMONIA has traversed a remarkable journey marked by unyielding dedication, exemplary service, and a sincere commitment to upholding the principles of law enforcement.

His steadfast dedication to duty is truly admirable, earning him not only respect but also serving as a wellspring of inspiration for his colleagues. His leadership has been instrumental in motivating the men and women of the organization to carry out their sworn duties with unparalleled passion and diligence.

A testament to his commitment is the successful implementation of the BIDA program, or “Buhay ay Ingatan Droga ay Ayawan.” Personally overseeing this, he assumed the responsibility of ensuring its effectiveness in addressing the challenges posed by illegal drugs. His visionary leadership has undeniably played a crucial role in the triumph of this program.

As he concludes his remarkable 38-year service in the Philippine National Police on January 26, 2024, his legacy remains embedded in the annals of law enforcement history, a testament to his enduring dedication, exceptional leadership, and unwavering commitment to the pursuit of justice and public safety.
