As part of its continuing commitment to corporate social responsibility and internal community welfare, the PRO 5 Officers Ladies Club Foundation, Inc. (PRO 5 OLCFI) spearheaded a compassion-driven outreach program on April 14, 2025, at PRO5 Sawangan Park, Camp BGen Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City. The initiative focused on providing assistance to 15 personnel from KASUROG Bicol who are currently facing the challenges of chronic illness. Each beneficiary received financial assistance and grocery packages, reflecting the Foundation’s dedication to supporting the well-being of PRO5’s human resources and reinforcing the message that they are not alone in their journey.
In line with its broader mission to enhance institutional support systems, the Foundation also formally turned over a playhouse with slide to the PRO 5 Children’s Learning Center. This donation aims to enrich the learning environment for the students, providing a safe and engaging space for play and early childhood development.
The event commenced with a welcome address delivered by Mrs. Teresa L. Bausa, President of PRO5 OLCFI, who emphasized the importance of collective action and compassion in fostering a supportive organizational culture. Mrs. Rose Vicky U. Dizon, Adviser of the Foundation, provided an overview of the activity, highlighting the objectives and the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to initiatives that uplift and empower.
PBGEN ANDRE P DIZON, PRO 5, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Foundation. In his message, he underscored the significance of employee care and morale in the overall mission of PRO5. He also extended words of encouragement to the recipients, inspiring them to remain resilient and steadfast in the face of adversity.
This initiative forms part of PRO 5 OLCFI’s broader efforts to deliver responsive, compassionate support to its personnel and their families. It also reflects the organization’s values of service, solidarity, and social responsibility, reinforcing the belief that true strength lies in community and shared purpose.
