The Police Regional Office 5 (PRO 5) has officially revived the Pulisteniks program, reaffirming its commitment to building a healthier, more resilient, and mission-ready police force in the Bicol region.
The Pulisteniks made a strong comeback with a series of wellness activities designed to enhance the physical well-being of PRO5 personnel. Highlights of the program included Zumba sessions, friendly games of volleyball, basketball, and pickleball, as well as group jogging and other fitness exercises. These activities not only promoted physical fitness but also fostered team spirit and camaraderie among participating officers.
The return of Pulisteniks marks a renewed focus on the PNP’s internal wellness campaign, which underscores the vital role of physical readiness in achieving operational excellence and delivering responsive policing. By engaging in regular fitness routines, personnel are better equipped both physically and mentally to meet the demands of law enforcement work.
PRO5 believes that a fit and active police force is a foundation of effective public service. The revival of Pulisteniks is more than just a health initiative; it is a strategic move to boost morale, enhance performance, and reinforce the importance of self-care and discipline within the ranks.
With Pulisteniks back in full swing, PRO 5 is taking a significant step toward building a stronger, more agile, and people-centered police organization. ###
