Balay Silangan will serve as temporary refuge for drug personalities with the primary objectives of reforming them into self-sufficient and law abiding citizen.
The latter was realized thru the cooperation of its National Agencies, Local Government Unit of Balatan and stakeholders.
It was attended by the LGU Balatan headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Nena B. Bagasbas, together with the Officers of the PNP Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office Provincial Director PCOL JULIUS CEASAR M.DOMINGO & Party, Balatan MPS personnel led by PMAJ ENGELBERT L TORALDO, COP, PDEA,NGA’s and other stakeholders.
The requirement for a local government unit to be declared drug cleared includes having a Balay Silangan.
