In his message, RED Milla applauded everyone involved in these activities. “This is a significant milestone as we reach the conclusion of the Foreshore and Delineation and Profiling Process. Ang presentation na ito ay parte ng proseso which marks the culmination of all the efforts and hard work that you all put through into this endeavor from the initial coordination with LGUs, through the surveys, profiling, data analysis, and the creation of the Foreshore Delineation Map (FDM), to the Foreshore Information Database (FID)”, RED Milla said.

Bicol Region is one of the pilot areas, which conducted Foreshore Survey and Mapping Activity. Foreshore Delineation Maps serve as significant reference for effective management foreshore areas.

With the completion of these activities, the DENR is hopeful that the management of our coastal resources will be more effective and efficient, use and occupancy of public lands will be rationalized and regulated and that land titling operations will create lasting benefits to the community, the Local Government Units (LGUs) and the environment.
