Iriga: DTI Region V Bicol celebrated the National MSME Week through the 2026 Bicol MSME Conference

On July 15, 2026, at Marison Hotel, Legazpi City, bringing together over 400 participants composed of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), industry leaders, government agencies, business support organizations, and key stakeholders from across the Bicol Region.

With the theme, “𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐌𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐬”, the conference highlighted the importance of innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and strategic collaboration in strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of MSMEs amid an evolving business landscape.

Representing the province, 𝟑𝟎 𝐌𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐂𝐒𝐂𝐂𝐈), 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐌𝐍𝐂𝐂𝐈), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, reaffirming the province’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and enterprise development.

The opening day also celebrated the outstanding achievements of Camarines Sur’s MSMEs and partners. The 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 emerged as the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐬 (𝐏𝐅𝐍) 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭, “𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐏 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐋.” Meanwhile, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐁. 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐩 𝐒𝐩𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞, was recognized as one of the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐌𝐌𝐄 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, showcasing the success of DTI’s Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program in developing resilient and growth-oriented entrepreneurs. Also recognized during the event was the Local Government Unit of Buhi, Camarines Sur LGU Buhi Official, whose “𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐢 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲” was featured as one of the participants in the “Shared Service Facility (SSF) Success Story” presentations, highlighting the positive impact of the SSF Program in enhancing the productivity, preserving the local weaving tradition, and creating livelihood opportunities for the Inabeg weaving community in Buhi.

The first day of the conference concluded with keynote presentations from industry experts and networking sessions that provided participants with valuable insights, practical strategies, and opportunities to establish partnerships that will contribute to the continued growth and competitiveness of Bicolano MSMEs.
