Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi CityβA 70-year-old suspected drug pusher, known by the alias “Nonong,” was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by PNP Bicol on July 30, 2025, in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Naga City.
The suspect, a resident of Zone 2, Tapaz Compound, Barangay Balatas, Naga City, was cornered by operatives from the City Intelligence Unit/City Drug Enforcement Unit with Police Station 1, both under the Naga City Police Office, during buy-bust.
Recovered from Nonongβs possession were 21 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 45 grams and with an estimated standard drug price of Php 306,000.00.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
