The Pursuit to Gender Equality and Women Economic Empowerment Continues: DOST-V Joins First Bicol GAD Convention.
Members of the DOST-V Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System participates in the First Bicol Gender and Development Convention, organized and spearheaded by the Regional GAD Committee 5 (RGADC5). This collaborative event brought together Regional Government Line Agencies, Local Government Units, and Non-Government Organizations at the Legazpi Convention Center in Legazpi City to focus on promoting gender balance within the region.
DOST-V is also showcasing its programs and services through an exhibit booth, featuring products from assisted women enterprises in the Province of Albay.
This occasion marks another significant stride towards fostering inclusivity and gender equality in Bicol. It serves as a valuable platform for stakeholders to exchange best practices and gain insights from each other’s experiences.
