The Department of Health Bicol Center for Health Development (DOH Bicol CHD) deployed an additional twelve (12) Doctors to the Barrio (DTTB) to the different Rural Health Units in the region.
The DTTB program of the DOH is aimed at providing the country with competent medical human resource to render services to the local community, especially in hard-to-reach areas.
Undersecretary of Health and Concurrent Regional Director Dr. Nestor F. Santiago Jr. led the oathtaking ceremony of the DTTBs on Monday, February 12, at DOH Bicol CHD office, Legazpi City.
Prior to this, the doctors were oriented on the different health programs of the DOH. (DOH5/MDUB)
