In anticipation of the possible impact of a Tropical Cyclone in the Bicol Region, the Coast Guard Station Sorsogon, under the steadfast leadership of LT RONNIE B ESPARAGOZA PCG, has activated its Deployable Response Groups (DRG) to ensure immediate action in the event of any incidents, evacuations, or rescue operations throughout the province of Sorsogon.
The DRG teams—including sub-stations and Mobile Teams under CGS Sorsogon—are now on heightened alert, with all personnel and necessary equipment prepared to support the local government’s emergency response efforts.
The Coast Guard Station Sorsogon also reminds all fisherfolk and seafarers to strictly observe maritime safety protocols and adhere to weather advisories to ensure safety at sea as the weather disturbance approaches.
