The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) – Regional Office No. 5 awarded the CITY OF IRIGA for having been ranked as TOP 1 among all 7 Cities in the Bicol Region, which was based on the 2022 Collection Efficiency of Locally Sourced Revenues and verification of officially submitted documents by the City Treasurer under electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (eSRE) for the period of Calendar Year 2022.
In the photo, Mrs. Segundina V. Egipto, Acting City Treasurer, and Mr. Edwin Albino, Acting City Assessor, received the award together with Dir. Anastacia R. Llaneta, Regional Director of BLGF V and Dir. Brenda Miranda. The official Certificate of Achievement was awarded to the City of Iriga during the Conduct of BLGF V 1st Quarter Regional Conference on March 15-16, 2023 at The Pepperland Hotel, Legazpi City in recognition for its invaluable efforts in revenue generation, efforts towards better local governance, and efficient public service delivery.
Further, the Bureau has given the Certificate of Appreciation to Mrs. Rallaine A. Orcine, CPA, for her significant and valuable contribution as the Focal Person in the preparation and timely submission of eSRE under the LGU Integrated Financial Tools (LIFT) System, and Ms. Yvette T. Royong as the Focal Person in-charge in the preparation and submission of the Quarterly Report on Real Property Assessment (QRRPA).
We also extend our appreciation to the other Fiscal Offices – Office of the City Accountant and Office of the City Budget Officer, for their support and cooperation in the preparation of financial data, and to all revenue generating offices (City Assessor, LCR, CHO, CEO, OCPDC, Terminal, Market, Slaughterhouse, etc.) for their excellent service throughout the year.
We would also like to express our gratitude to HON. WILFREDO REX C. OLIVA, City Mayor, for his leadership and support to the Local Government Unit of Iriga City and to the City of Iriga in reaching its goals towards fiscal sustainability and economic growth.
