In celebration of Elderly Week, members of the Iriga City Federation of Senior Citizens Association (ICFSC) Inc. were sworn in as elderly city officials during a flag-raising ceremony held yesterday at the Iriga City DRRMO Court.
The ceremony, led by Mayor Rex Oliva, marked a significant moment as the senior citizens took on their new roles as part of the city’s initiative to honor and empower the elderly members of the community. The oath-taking was one of the highlights of the event, where the elderly officials pledged to serve the city in various capacities for the period of October 1-7, 2024.
