The City Health Office (CHO) – Oral Health Team conducted an outreach mission in Barangay Antipolo, identified as a Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Area (GIDA). The team provided Routine Preventive Oral Care (RPOC), oral examination, oral prophylaxis, risk assessment, and fluoride application for children aged 0–59 months and Child Development Learners. Free toothbrushes and toothpaste were also distributed, accompanied by an oral health education session demonstrating the proper way of toothbrushing using the “Walis Linis Technique.”

The activity was led by CHO dentists Dr. Romer G. Trinidad and Dr. Maria Michelle P. Guadalupe, with the support of Rural Health Physician Dr. Oscar Estiller, who shared valuable insights on proper nutrition and conducted medical consultations for residents. The integrated approach ensured that both dental and general health concerns of children were addressed during the visit.

This outreach initiative was made possible through the strong support and vision of Mayor Wilfredo Rex Cuba Oliva, who continues to prioritize bringing essential health services closer to every barangay, especially in far-flung and underserved communities—reinforcing the city’s commitment to accessible and inclusive healthcare for all.
