The Canadian Ambassador to the Philippines, David Bruce Hartman, pays a courtesy visit to the office of the Local Chief Executive of the Province of Camarines Sur, Governor Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte.
The discussion between Governor Luigi Villafuerte and Ambassador David Bruce Hartman focused mainly on the various developmental programs and projects of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur and the Canadian Embassy and the mutual interests of the two in exploring and creating opportunities that will ultimately create prosperity for both the people of Canada and the province of CamSur.
Ambassador Hartman repeatedly expressed his gratitude and thanked the Provincial Government and the people of Camarines Sur for the generous, warm, and genuine welcome the Canadian Embassy delegation was given.
“This level of welcome that they afforded us today — I’ve been a bit at a loss for words at describing how kind and generous that was, how hospitable — that is illustrative of the Philippines on a human level,” said Ambassador Hartman.
The Embassy of Canada to the Philippines will be marking the 75th year of strong and friendly bilateral relations between Canada and Philippines in 2024. To underscore the significance of this, the Canadian Embassy aims to create legacy programs in the country that will open opportunities to both the country.
