Iriga: Awarding of Notice of Compliance (NOC) for the city local public transport route plan

The City Government of Iriga was awarded a “Notice of Compliance (NOC)” by the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) for the City’s successful compliance of the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).

The LPTRP is a strategic, 3-year plan that outlines specific routes and services for public transportation in a given area, with the aim of enhancing mobility and meeting the needs of the community. The implementation of a Local Public Transport Route Plan brings numerous benefits, including improved accessibility, sustainability, cost savings, and economic development.

The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Mayor Wilfredo Rex C. Oliva, Vice-Mayor Edsel S. Dimaiwat, and Committee Chairman on Public Utilities and Public Service Hon. Katherine Dominique C. Lagrimas, along with other members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, PNP Chief PLtCol Ralph Jason Oida, representatives from various transport groups, Department Heads and Heads of various Offices. The award was presented by Engr. Arthur Cledera, Planning Office III of LTFRB, on behalf of LTFRB Regional Director PMaj. Gen. Antonio Gardiola Jr., who congratulated and commended the City for their diligent efforts in meeting the standards set by the LTFRB.
