Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City – Over the weekend, Police Regional Office 5 headed by PBGEN. WESTRIMUNDO D. OBINQUE, RD, conducted successful operations resulting in the apprehension of four high-ranking most wanted persons in the region as part of PROs relentless commitment to anti-criminality drive.
Among the notable arrests during this period is Roberto Pagal Nazareno, ranked 6th in the regional most wanted list, facing charges for three counts of rape. The collaborative effort of San Andres MPS, Catanduanes PPO, and Candelaria CPS, Quezon PPO, led to his capture at Brgy. Pahinga Sur, Candelaria, Quezon.
In Sorsogon, the 9th ranked regional most wanted person, Francis Rabulan Madrid, charged with two counts of rape, was apprehended by the joint personnel of Donsol MPS and 1st PMFC, both from Sorsogon PPO; RIU5-PIT Sorsogon; and Pilar Maritime Law Enforcement Team at Brgy. Banuang Gurang, Donsol, Sorsogon.
Similarly, the 10th ranked regional most wanted person, Aldrin Magana Boque, facing charges for two counts of statutory rape, was successfully placed under police custody. Joint efforts from Mercedes MP, 1st PMFC, and 2nd PMFC, all from Camarines Norte PPO; CIDG Camarines Norte PFU-RFU5; and RIU-PIT Camarines Norte, led to his apprehension at Purok 4, Brgy. Manguisoc, Mercedes, Camarines Norte.
In Masbate, Jolito Avelino Jr. y Guiz, the 3rd ranked provincial most wanted person facing charges of two counts of rape in relation to RA 7610, was apprehended at Brgy. Danao, Balud, Masbate by joint personnel of Balud MPS, PIU, and 1st PMFC, all from Masbate PPO.
These significant accomplishments underscore PRO5’s unwavering commitment to combating lawless elements and ensuring the safety and security of the community. Hence, it shall continue what it had started, and its efforts will persist to safeguard the welfare of the public.
