The food redemption activity under the “Walang Gutom” program was successfully conducted on August 5, 2025, benefiting 163 recipients at the CDRRMO Multi-Purpose Covered Court in Iriga City.
Spearheaded in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) led by Ms. Maridel C. Verrosa, RSW, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region V, the initiative aims to provide immediate food assistance to vulnerable and low-income families.
The program addresses food insecurity and supports families facing economic challenges, forming part of a broader effort to strengthen social protection and welfare services through collaborative local and regional partnerships.
The “Walang Gutom” initiative will continue to roll out in Iriga City as part of its ongoing commitment to alleviate hunger and promote food security among its constituents.
