The provincial government of Sorsogon led the distribution of P10,000 in presidential cash assistance to 1,300 Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA)-registered farmers and fishers during a ceremony on July 2 at the Sorsogon Gymnasium.
The amount distributed came from the P13 million received by Sorsogon Governor Edwin Hamor from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during the latter’s visit to the El Niño-affected constituents in the Bicol region last June.
