The afternoon highlight of the 57th Charter Anniversary celebration of Iriga City was the spirited Majorette Dance Showdown and Drum & Bugle Corps/Drum & Lyre (DBC/DLC) Competition, held on September 2, 2025. A total of 12 elementary schools participated, filling the venue with colorful performances, rhythmic beats, and synchronized movements that drew loud cheers from the crowd.
The friendly competition showcased the discipline, creativity, and teamwork of each school, as majorettes impressed with their dynamic choreography while bands displayed precision and harmony in their musical routines. More than just a contest, the event highlighted the talents of the city’s elementary pupils and strengthened school pride and community spirit as part of the ongoing Charter Anniversary festivities.
