About 10 farmer and fishermen organizations from Rapu-Rapu town received technical and livelihood assistance from the Provincial Government of Albay.
The Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office gathered all 10 registered organizations as beneficiaries of the series of technical assistance and training where they were given additional information on hog production, sardines making, and meat processing.
These organizations are: Liguan Farmers Association, Galicia Fishertfolks Association, Liguan Farmers and Fisherfolks Association, Samahan ng Magsasaka at Mangingisda sa Barangay Sagrada, Calanaga Fisherfolks Association, Batan Women Fisherfolks Association Inc., Morocborocan Fisherfolks Fishing Organization, Rapu-rapu Island Farmers and Fisherfolks, Save the Mother Earth Association Inc., and Caracaran Kalipi Organization.
Members of said organizations also attended a series of trainings conducted by technicians from the Albay Veterinary Office and Albay Provincial Agriculture Office from December 4 to 7 in Camalig, Albay.
