Hacking incident transpired at Purok Mauswagon, Brgy. La Dicha, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 4:00 PM of September 8, 2020. The victim was identified as Albert Dosig Villegas, 36 years old, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok Mangga, Brgy. Buluan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and suspect identified as Oliver Villadares Ancuna, legal age, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok Mauswagon, Brgy. La Dicha, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the suspect arrived at the house of Elizabeth Palma, armed with a bolo, and immediately collared the victim, in the presence of the witnesses. The suspect pulled out his bolo and hacked the victim hitting on the left side portion of his face and left hand. In the event, the victim was able to grab a bolo and also hacked the suspect hitting on his head.
The suspect was rushed to Diplahan Hospital for medical treatment was referred to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital for further medical treatment. The victim with the aid of his family was brought to Malangas Emergency Hospital.
Recovered from the crime were two bolos used on the aforesaid incident.
