Hacking Incident At Purok 5, Brgy. Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte

Hacking incident transpired at Purok 5, Brgy. Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:30 PM of October 17, 2020. The two suspects were identified as Felipe Dangase Gumacas, 31 years old, single, farmer; and Carlito Dangase Gumacas, 27 years old, single, farmer, both resident of Purok 5, Sitio Sibayog, Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte while victims identified as Aurelio Dausan Adaro, 66 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 5, Sitio Sibayog, Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte; and Vergel Ageas Adaro, 29 years old, college level, driver and a resident of Purok 5, Sitio Sibayog, Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the suspect Carlito believed to be under the influence of liquor went at the boundary of their lot located at aforementioned place near the residence of the victim and right there and then uncontrollably got wild and began to cut the bananas planted by the victims. Allegedly the said bananas have way lapsed over the boundary and encroached the lot of the suspects.

The victims went over to intervene but the suspect Carlito confronted that ensue a commotion where the suspect Carlito began hacking the victim who was armed with wooden sticks.

Allegedly, suspect Felipe helped suspect Carlito in hacking the victims. Aurelio Dausan Adaro sustained hack wound at his right upper arm while Vergel Adaro was hit on his forehead.

Immediately, PNP personnel of Katipunan Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ. Vincent M. Virtudazo-acop proceeded to the said place and conducted hot pursuit operation and the two suspects were arrested by the responding PNP team at Purok 5, Brgy. Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The victims were brought to the Katipunan Rural Health Center for medical treatment while the suspects are now under the custody of Katipunan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
