Governor Francisco Lalo Matugas issued First Supplement to EO No. 21-010, s. 2021 with the following salient features:
- Component City and Municipalities are enjoined to strictly implement EO No. 20-010, s. 2021 to prevent the more contagious UK and South African COVID-19 variants from entering our Province;
- Children, who are 17 years old and below, are exempted from presentation of negative result on RT-PCR Test (both swab and saliva samples);
- Passing through passengers (all persons passing the jurisdiction of the Province of Surigao del Norte by sea or by land) are exempted from presentation of negative result on RT-PCR Test (both swab and saliva samples); and
- Nonresident Private APORs may be exempted from the requirement of “Confirmed Booking of Accommodation for at least two (2) nights from the resort, hotel or hostel duly accredited by the Department of Tourism” if they can present proof/s that they are coming to the Province of Surigao del Norte for the purpose of delivery or performance of essential goods and services, as the case may be.
