FWD relocates Cagayan de Oro business hub tobetter serve Filipino customers

FWD Life Insurance (“FWD”) has relocated its Cagayan de Oro (CDO) business hub, the first ever FWD branch outside Metro Manila, to the second level of SM City Cagayan de Oro Uptown. In celebration, FWD treated the City of Golden Friendship and the Kagay-anons with a series of activities geared toward nation-building.

“The relocation of our CDO business hub aligns with our objective to reach more Filipinos by providing them with access to life protection and addressing their financial needs as they pursue their life goals. As such, we’re reinforcing our commitment to Northern Mindanao for the higher purpose of contributing to nation-building through financial inclusion and poverty alleviation, while providing innovative financial products and job opportunities,” said Antonio Manuel “Jumbing” De Rosas, FWD PH President and Chief Executive Officer.

FWD welcomed guests through Cocktails and Conversations with FWD, where key executives interacted with customers to discuss FWD’s commitment to boosting financial inclusion and protection in CDO. They also shared notable company highlights in 2022, as well as its goals for the city, further demonstrating that customers are part of FWD CDO’s growth story.

FWD also conducted Get Set with FWD, a business program for 60 aspiring financial wealth planners in CDO. FWD executives and trained professionals talked about the insurance industry, the FWD brand, and the company’s best-in-class sales agency that leads the brand vision to changing the way people feel about insurance through innovative products and using technology for a seamless customer experience.

Prior to the grand opening, FWD, through Innovation Think Tank, engaged in conversation with the young generation of CDO to empower them to become better leaders of the future. The participants conceptualized innovative solutions for several identified societal challenges. The activity also tested their skills in branding, local area marketing and distribution, and utilizing digital channels and products.
