The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, headed by Mr. Dave Francis P. Plaza, distributed food packs in every household at Barangay Cabitoonan after placing the entire barangay under a Temporary Complete Lockdown for a period of five days.
Since the start of ECQ, the MSWD Office took the lead in the distribution of financial aid and food packs to the most vulnerable households/families affected by COVID-19. From the preparation of database of target beneficiaries to catering critics and complaints, the hearts of public servants always prevailed. Each of them have been very committed to do the work even under these challenging circumstances, because doing so is not only their duty, it comes with trust that has been placed unto them by the people of General Luna.
