Baao Mayor Jeffrey Bisenio warned the general public regarding a group of unscrupulous persons pretending to be Covid-19 contact tracers and moving from one house to another asking unsuspecting family members of their bank account or credit card numbers.
Legitimate contact tracers from the local government unit will not ask you of any private information such as bank accounts or credit card numbers according to the local chief executive.
Moreover, these individuals are also selling swab test and rapid test kits, alcohol, facemask and other medical products. Mayor Bisenio asked the public to remain vigilant in this pandemic times and immediately report these swindlers to the Baao Municipal Police Station via the hotline 0929-108-4883.
