A man and two others were arrested in a drug buy bust operation inside a hotel in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay following a deal with the suspect to buy alleged shabu, police reports claimed.
The Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Ipil Municipal Police Station conducted intel driven buy-bust operation at Mandarin Hotel, Room 206, Purok African Daisy, Barangay Don Andres, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 11:20 p.m. of May 11, 2021.
Police Regional Spokesman Capt. Edwin Duco claimed the operation resulted in the arrest of Alfredo Bengil Bundoc, 43 years old, married, college graduate, government employee, resident of Purok Santan, Barangay Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte. With Bundoc were Karen Grace Hipolan Lajot, 37 years old, single, college level, home service massager, Eleonor Landiang Bangsa, 30 years old, married, high school level, jobless, and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Lagting, Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Confiscated from the trio were: one (1) small sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.056 grams; two (2) pieces small sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.112 grams (possession) with total estimated weight of 0.168 grams and value of ₱ 1,500.00; 1 piece aluminum foil with residue of suspected Shabu; 1 piece aluminum improvised tooter with residue of suspected shabu; 1 piece aluminum rolled foil, 4 pieces of disposable lighter in different colors; 1 blue shoulder bag; 2 pieces android cellphone, 10 pieces of ₱ 20.00 bills; and 1 piece ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money.
Arrested suspects and confiscated items were brought to Ipil Municipal Police Station for proper disposition, Duco concluded. (PRO9 Public Information Office)
