THE Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday logged 6,955 additional Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 1,262, 273.
There were 8,109 recoveries and 195 deaths.
Of the total number of cases, 4.7 percent (59,543) are active, 93.6 percent (1,180,998) have recovered, and 1.72 percent (21,732) have died.
Nineteen duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 15 are recoveries.
Moreover, 102 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
All laboratories were operational on June 3, 2021 but two were not able to submit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.
Based on data in the last 14 days, the two non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 0.17 percent of samples tested and 0.21 percent of positive individuals.
