MORE than 2,800 jobs are up for grabs as the Department of Health (DOH) expanded its job fair as part of its 126th anniversary celebration.

The nationwide job fair which started only with 2,600 vacant positions on June 18, has been getting larger as more units of the DOH listed for immediate application at the job fair.

“As we continue to celebrate our 126th anniversary, we are adding more to our Job Fair and offering more opportunities for professionals to join the DOH. These additional positions reflect our commitment to enhancing healthcare services across the country,” Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said.

In just two days, the DOH has received almost 900 applications and the number is expected to grow as the job fair continues.

Herbosa said that through the job fair, the department aims to recruit more health workers for its 76 operating units, which include the Central Office, Centers for Health Development (CHDs), DOH Hospitals, and Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers (TRCs) nationwide.

On-the-spot interviews and immediate hiring were conducted to streamline the recruitment process.

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the job fair in person to explore available positions and engage directly with recruitment teams.

Applicants can also apply online through vacant positions on the CSC website, on the website DOH Ejobs for Health, and other designated platforms.

Aligned with the Seventh Action Agenda item, “Kapakanan at karapatan ng health workers,” the Job Fair presents a unique opportunity for qualified Filipinos to contribute to the nation’s healthcare system. Positions span various multiple salary grades, disciplines, and levels, offering competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within one of the country’s vital government agencies.

“We encourage all qualified individuals to partake in this important initiative – dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga,” Herbosa said.
