Despite the erratic weather condition, the provincial government of Zamboanga del Norte conducted a Ground Breaking Ceremony and Rehabilitation/Improvement of Steel Bridge at Barangay San Nicolas, Municipality of Sirawai last June 9, 2024.
Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” Jalosjos, through Provincial Administrator Wilberth “Jojo” Magallanes, attended the ceremony and conveyed a message of support from the beloved governor. In his speech, Mr. Magallanes stated that the residents’ welfare in the community will benefit from the said project which aimsto improve the social and economic activities of the municipality. He further stressed that this project is – and will be – a testament of good governance in the province of Zamboanga del Norte as well as a symbol of development and peace.
The project is estimated to cost at least 2.7M which is funded by the Provincial Government. To show their support and commitment for the project, Board Member – Hon. Conkee Buctuan, Municipal Mayor of Sirawai- Hon. Aljazar P. Janihim, Barangay Captain of San Nicolas – Mr. Nicolas Solito,former Congressman Cesar G. Jalosjos, and Atty.
