Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region IX together with all the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Offices (PENROs) and Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices (CENROs) under Zamboanga Peninsula was recently issued an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) registration certificate.
The SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. officially issued the ISO 9001:2015 certificate signed by Operation Director Gilmore Rivera to DENR Region IX on October 18, 2022, after their thorough verification and comprehensive audit conducted on April 1 -12, 2022.
The External Auditors meticulously audited the Public Administration covering the Conservation, Management, Development and Proper Use of the Country’s Environment and Natural Resources.
The ISO 9001:2015 stipulated requirements for a quality management system when an organization desires to establish its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the customer satisfaction and aims to improve customer fulfilment through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and pertinent statutory and regulatory requirements.
