After the release of the City and Provincial Executive Orders a week ago placing the City and the whole Province of Zamboanga del Norte under an Enhanced Community Quarantine, the Local Health Officials, LGU and inter-agencies for Task Force Covid-19, are now implementing disinfection and sanitation in the main roads of Dipolog City.
Despite of the Dipolognon’s uncertainty about the figures of the PUM’s and PUI’s in the area, Task force Covid-19 Zamboanga del Norte are doing everything to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus Disease 2019. Their plea to the public to remain calm, cooperative and vigilant continues amidst the handful fake news circulating in social media.
Dipolog City listed 308 PUM’s and 3 PUI’s as of March 18, 2020. While 2 samples sent to Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) last March 14, 2020 resulted negative. As of today, there has not yet been an update on the figures released 2 days ago.
