Barangay Poblacion, Leon B. Postigo officials and residents were extremely thankful to the Provincial Government for the conduct of Medical Outreach Program during the celebration of the 42nd Founding Anniversary or Linggo ng Barangay Celebration.
Barangay Poblacion Punong-Barangay Cherrylyn Guimalan, in behalf of all the barangay officials said that Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” Jalosjos’ Medical Outreach Program manifests her commitment to fulfill her mandate as a mother of all ZaNortehanons, and be true to her promise, “Misyon Ko, Tinuod Nga Serbisyo.”
Ms. Jocelyn P. Baroro, 31-year old mother of Shelyn P. Baroro, 9 years old, were among the recipients of free tooth extraction, also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” Jalosjos, ably supported by Provincial Administrator Mr. Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” Magallanes for providing the quality of governance that the ZaNortehanons need. She further hoped that same quality of service will be extended to all ZaNortehanons regardless of political affiliation.
Provincial Administrator Magallanes, who despite his hectic schedule, together with PEO-OIC Engr. Rey Eguia and Governor Jalosjos’ spokesperson Atty.Ivan Patrick Ang still find time to greet them during its observance of its 42nd Linggo ng Barangay Poblacion Celebration. He assured Leon B. Postigo Mayor Ronnie Jamora and Poblacion Punong-Barangay Cherrylyn Guimalan and her constituents the quality of governance that Governor Nanay Nene Jalosjos could provide to all ZaNortehanons.
According to Mr. Rommel Jamolod, the Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Jane Jaug, together with the doctors, dentists and nurses from Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center(ZNMC), Sindangan District Hospital, Liloy District Hospital, Labason District Hospital and Leon B-Postigo participated in the said Medical Outreach Program. Of the 339 recipients of the program, 229 were given free medical consultations and medicines, 110 were given free tooth extraction with free medicines, while 38 residents Barangay Poblacion and adjacent barangays were given free haircut.
