Malungon, Sarangani – Traveler and private commuter vehicles and motorcycles pile along a double-lane road segment as they pass through the Pulatana, Malungon border checkpoint from General Santos City, Friday.
However, unlike the old days of spending time in encoding manually their personal data through pen and record books, travelers now made it quick and easy through the swift scanning and verification by means of the Malungon Tracking Data and Control (MTDC) system at their respective cell phones.
Assisted by tasked border guards, frontliners and LGU workers, those who have no QR code card had even found the softest way to register during the opening volley of the stern border preventive measure that closely opposes the ongoing local transmission of Covid -19 from the neighboring cities and provinces.
As of this moment, the Municipal Task Force persistently informs the general public of the new online system, with its stern implementation of the “No MTDC QR Code Card, No Entry” policy in Malungon Municipality. For others to register, please call your respective barangay center or see the online system registration at Malungon.ph
