The cases of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) deaths in Zamboanga City closed at 168 for the year 2020 this was reported by the City Health Office Monday night during a virtual press conference.
Dr. Dulce Miravite, City Health Officer said, a total of 168 Covid deaths registered for 2020 while two for 2021.
Some of these deaths, the patients have comorbidities such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and others.
The age bracket of these deaths were as young as 11 months old to 94 years old.

Due to the pandemic the health department is advising no mass gathering is allowed, practicing social distancing is a must, and we wear our facemask and shields to avoid Covid 19.
For Zamboanga alone, Covid cases are now at 3,685, for recoveries 3,406, for active cases 109, and death 170. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
