Cops Told To Uphold The High Standards Of Morality, Ethics

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – Known as the “Home of the Most Disciplined Cops”, Police Regional Office Cordillera celebrated the 27th PNP Ethics Day with a reminder to always uphold the high standards of morality and ethics as stated in the PNP Core Values.

The PNP Ethics Day is a yearly celebration to remind and reinforce the adherence of PNP personnel on the ethical doctrine which contains the values, discipline, and professional standards for policemen. This year’s theme is “Nagkakaisang Pambansang Pulisya, Sama-sama sa Serbisyong Tapat at Marangal para sa Bayan.”

As the highlights of the celebration, PROCOR personnel with the most notable good deeds, who went above and beyond their duties and functions as law enforcers were awarded.

Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to the personnel of Flora MPS of Apayao PPO and Tuba MPS of Benguet PPO. The two municipal police stations helped in the construction and renovation of a house of selected families in need in their respective municipalities.

Medalya ng Papuri was also awarded to 1st Kalinga PMFC, Kabugao MPS, four personnel of Benguet PPO, namely, PSMS Clifford Pakipac of La Trinidad MPS, PCpl. Nimfa B. Camis of Kabayan MPS, PMSg. Marcial Inguidan, and PSSg. Joseph Kimkiman, both from Tublay MPS, two personnel of Ifugao PPO, PCMS Frederic F. Baynihan of Hungduan MPS and PMSg Allan M Andrade of Tinoc MPS, and last but not the least, Pat Van Clyde C. Binay-an from the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Section.

All awardees were recognized for their notable acts in displaying a true sense of public service and willingness to extend help which is beyond their mandated tasks. They serve as an inspiration to other PNP personnel to strive harder, not only as law enforcers but as public servants as well.

Director of the National Police Commission – CAR, Editha S. Puddoc as guest of honor and speaker challenged the police force to work ethically, rightfully, and bravely to strive higher and do better.

“The driving force of service must be our heart filled commitment and persuasion to deliver not just a good, but rather, the greatest service we could offer to the citizenry.” She said

In addition to the notable deeds of selected PROCOR personnel, 50 selected senior Police Commissioned Officers participated in a seminar on Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices, Ethical Leadership and Values Formation with NAPOLCOM Benguet Provincial Officer, Atty.
