The Rural Health Unit of General Luna would like to inform everyone and regrets to declare that we have one (1) RT-PCR positive Covid-19 case.

PLEASE READ PERTINENT DETAILS BELOW:

COVID-19 PATIENT NO. 4

Age: 73 YEARS OLD

Sex: MALE

Address: PUROK 2, BRGY. 2 POBLACION, GENERAL LUNA, SDN

DATE OF ONSET OF SYMPTOMS:

JANUARY 11, 2021

Signs/Symptoms:

– BODY MALAISE

– COUGH

– DECREASE IN APPETITE

– SOB (Shortness of Breath)

COMORBIDITIES:

– COPD (CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE)

History of travel: NONE

History of exposure:

JANUARY 1: Stayed at home

JANUARY 2: Went to BURGOS Cockpit Arena (Buyangan) from 11:00AM and went home around 5:00PM

JANUARY 3: Stayed at Home

JANUARY 4 & 5: Went to D’GAME, Cockpit Arena (Buyangan) DAPA, attended a cockfighting game from 10:00AM and went home around 5:00PM

JANUARY 4,5, 6,7 & 8: Will sometimes drop by or visit the neighbouring BILLIARD HOUSE to watch people play billiards.

JANUARY 9 & 10: Went to D’GAME, Cockpit Arena(Buyangan) DAPA, attended a cockfighting game from 10:00AM and went home around 5:00PM

JANUARY 11: ONSET OF SYMPTOMS started, patient developed cough until January 13, 2021, noted a decrease in appetite, shortness of breath noted eventhough he’s just walking a short distance, and family decided to travel the next day to Surigao for hospital admission.

JANUARY 14: Patient was admitted at SURIGAO DOCTOR’S HOSPITAL,INC. around 10:00AM.

RAPID TEST was done result for

IgG and IgM: NEGATIVE.

RAPID ANTIGEN SWAB: POSITIVE. Patient was subjected to confirmatory test(RT-PCR).

JANUARY 15:

RT-PCR result: POSITIVE

JANUARY 16-18,2021

Patient is still admitted at Surigao Doctor’s Hospital.

Everyone, now more than ever, Is asked to please follow our health protocols, primarily the wearing of masks, social distancing, handwashing and only leaving the house for important matters. We are all hoping to have both a safe and well-prepared community, as following these protocols help increase our chances of preventing the spread of this virus.
